Steak dinners were very satisfying and the portions were fine. The service also was fine. The only problem we encountered was an inability to settle our bill. Our table was promptly cleared when we'd finished. But I had to go find someone to get our bill. Then we waited at least another 15 to 20 minutes for ur bill to be picked up. No one came. Finally we just walked to the bar and paid there . Not a big deal but the restaurant was not busy that night. Otherwise it was an enjoyable and satisfying meal. Give Chapter House a try

The bar pies were great - perfect size. Our server was friendly and made sure our drinks were always full. Comfortable spot with a good vibe. Perfect for grabbing a beer, some grub, and shooting the breeze with friends and family.
It was nice to grab a bite to eat and enjoy some conversation without having to shout over a bar crowd. The food was hot, tasty, and the portions were just right. The waitstaff was attentive and you didn't have to wait long for your food. I'll be back again!
I have been going to the chapter house since the 1990s. If you eat in the dining room, the food and service is always outstanding! If you call the order in for pick up. You are nothing to them.
We enjoyed a quick lunch at a table in the bar area. My wife enjoyed the fish taco platter which included a side of cross cut sweet potatoes and cinnamon butter dipping sauce. Wow, am I glad she shared those!! I had the "half of a chicken wrap and cup of soup combo". The clam chowder was fresh made in house, with plenty of clams included. There are plenty of large screen TVs surrounding the bar area and a dartboard as well. Cozy, casual and relaxed atmosphere with a large bar area and separated dining rooms.
